To be in the Norwegian mountains in the fall (September-November) is an experiance for the whole life. The beautiful colours, and the clean air are unique. The hunting and fishing season are in their peaks.

Hiking and biking in the fall are also popular activities at this time of the year.

For Norwegians this is probably the most popular time (beside the easter vacation) to be in the mountains.
